Refund & Cancellation Policy – OpenLoop Platform

At Lean Meds, we are committed to transparency, fairness, and compliance in every part of the patient experience. Please review the following Refund & Cancellation Policy – OpenLoop Platform carefully before purchasing any product or service.

Non-Refundable Circumstances

Refunds are not available in the following situations:

Prescription medication orders: Once a patient submits the initial medical intake, the order is considered in process and becomes non-refundable. This is because medical, clinical, pharmacy, and fulfillment resources are immediately dedicated to reviewing eligibility, processing prescriptions, and coordinating shipment.

Processed subscription charges: If you cancel a subscription after a payment has already been processed, the cancellation will stop future recurring charges only. Charges that have already been processed are non-refundable.

Prescription products already ordered or dispensed: In accordance with applicable Federal law and pharmacy safety standards, prescription medications generally cannot be returned, refunded, or reused once they have been ordered for a patient.

When Refunds May Be Granted

Refunds are issued only in the following circumstances:

1. Medical Ineligibility

A full refund may be issued if a Lean Meds/OpenLoop provider determines during the initial consultation that the patient is not medically eligible for treatment based on clinical judgment and established medical guidelines.

However, no refund will be granted if the patient knowingly omitted, misstated, or misrepresented relevant medical information in the intake or qualification questionnaire, and that information later affects eligibility.

2. Billing Error

A full refund may be issued if Lean Meds made a verifiable billing error, such as an incorrect or duplicate charge.

How to Request a Refund

To be considered, refund requests must meet all of the following requirements:

• The request must be submitted within 28 days of the original payment date.

• The request must be made in writing by contacting care@leanmeds.com (or by calling +1 719-989-6969) or by mail at our listed business address.

• Requests submitted after 28 days, or through other channels, may not be honored.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation does not refund any payment that has already been processed. Once a prescription order has been approved and processing has begun, it cannot be canceled for a refund. Once a shipment has been dispatched, it cannot be canceled, modified, or recalled.

Shipping Policy

After a prescription is approved during the telehealth consultation, compounded medication is typically shipped within 2–3 business days. Delivery timelines may vary based on pharmacy processing and carrier operations.

Service Area

Lean Meds products and services are available only to residents of the 50 United States. We do not accept or ship international orders.

Lean Meds

*The assessment made available on the Lean Meds website does not create a doctor-patient relationship between the individual completing the assessment and Lean Meds. CareValidate Health, a network of US-licensed doctors that adhere to rigorous medical protocols designed for patient safety, has established exclusionary criteria to determine if an individual does not qualify for GLP-1s. The answers an individual provides to the Lean Meds assessment consequently determine if the individual is screened out of eligibility for GLP-1 medication, and a CareValidate Health clinician will meet with an individual after checkout to determine if they qualify for a prescription. CareValidate Health clinicians retain the decision to prescribe compounded GLP-1s to patients.

All claims and benefits on this website refer to self-reported data from GLP-1 customers on a treatment plan that includes compounded GLP-1 medications and consultations with medical professionals. Customers reported their weight on their initial medical intake questionnaire every 3-4 weeks thereafter. Results from compounded medications found on the Lean Meds platform may vary and be affected by an individual's adherence to the program and their clinician's recommendations. Compounded GLP-1s are produced in FDA-regulated facilities. Although these facilities are highly regulated, the medications are not FDA-approved or evaluated for safety, efficacy, or quality. The decision to use compounded drugs is guided by the licensed provider's medical judgment, which is informed by a telehealth consultation and medical history. We encourage all prospective users of compounded medications to speak with their provider about the specific risks and benefits that may come with the use of compounded medication. Lean Meds does not produce compounded medications, and individuals may receive medication that looks different than what is portrayed on the website.

Pharmacy Providers: We are partnered with multiple USA certified pharmacies to bring the best product and overall experience to our membership. Our team meets regularly with pharmacies to discuss any product shortages, shipping delays, and get updated reports on their medication testing.

*Results vary based on starting weight and program adherence. Inches lost from hips, waist, chest, thighs and arms in the first month. Patients exercised daily and ate a reduced-calorie diet. Their fat loss is not typical. Results may vary. Medication prescriptions are at the discretion of medical providers and may not be suitable for everyone. Lean Meds patients typically result in 1-2 lbs per week weight loss after 4 weeks, involving a healthy diet and exercise changes. Consult a healthcare professional before using medication or starting any weight loss program. *Based on the average weight loss as reported by patients without diabetes who reached and maintained a dose of 2.4 mg/week of GLP-1 treatment, along with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Medication is included in the cost of the Lean Meds Program. Wegovy® is FDA-approved for weight loss. Ozempic® is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes treatment but may be prescribed for weight loss.
